Hi,

kind of a strange situation...today I checked one of my bank-accounts and found a direct deposit from United on it. While I am expecting two refunds from United the amount did not match either of the expected payments (either way to high or way to low), and the deposit had only a ten-digit number as description. Payment originated from United's UK-office as I am living in Germany and they do all the bank-transfers within the EU. Since the refunds I am expecting are coming from different departments, it's not that easy just to call someone (e.g. CS) to find out.

Any idea how to find out what the payment is for? Is there some phone number for United's accounting department that could provide me with a clue as to the reason for the deposit?
