Looking at an award ticket right now: SFO-YVR-XXX (Canadian destination). UA connecting to AC. The connection offered in YVR is only 77mins (it's late at night, for whatever that means with regard to TPAC arrivals). Neither my wife nor I have Nexus or Global Entry. I'm on a Canadian passport, she has a US passport.

Am I crazy to be considering this? We'd be connecting onto a TCON redeye, so is we misconnect, the earliest rebooking opportunity would be the next morning. Is there any sort of expedited transfer line at customs (I remember seeing something like that at YYZ, but haven't connected through YVR much at all).
