You are confused by the courts ruling. The court did not mandate private business owners toss out what they believe in. A business refusing to bake a cake in no way, shape, or form denies a gay couple federal marriage benefits. Militant gays are just as bad as militant Christians.
Well first, no one is saying anything about "toss[ing] out what they believe in". Unless you feel that the only option is to discriminate or toss out your beliefs.
Secondly, I don't know what a "militant" gay is. Second, due to the fact that Christians are more of a majority, have more power, and are less persecuted in the first world, I'm not sure they are equally bad.
But I was not referencing the recent SCOTUS court ruling. While it still needs to be sorted out, and the laws are not universal, generally refusing to provide a public accommodation to someone based on sexual orientation is going to get you in trouble. Either with the public, the law, or the media.
And that's a good thing.
