It's only faulty if you accept your premise - that bigotry rooted in the Bible is okay and should be respected.

There are many things rooted in the Bible - like owning your wife, beating your children, not working on the Sabbath - that we don't defer to.

Why should we defer to the bigotry that is so intertwined in your religion?

Ultimately you are on the side of hate. It may be religious hate, but that's no different than radical Islamists who believe in a literal reading of the Quran.

And it certainly doesn't deserve protection in our laws to allow you to exhibit your hate in a business context.
