Singapore Don said the fare cannot be booked on software , only through a travel agent. Anyway , I see these fares for those particular flights pop up for this November and next May . I do notice some other times , those flights only start around 20,000 dollars. Perhaps Nov and May are slowest months for that route? I have learned from this 2 things: Never count out the high end first class airline cabins that are notoriously expensive , as maybe something better may pop up for a certain trip and secondly , having to always connect someplace for international flights from my upstate NY location is not ALWAYS a bad thing. Would never see that price straight from JFK or Chicago. Thanks again . I see that this site will become as invaluable to me in trip planning as Trip Advisor . I am a leisure traveler who never really banks enough miles to use high end first class cabins from points , and I pay my own way , no expense accounts. Thus , I enjoy tracking down ways to get the most luxury bang for my buck . I can spend in single digit thousands sometimes , especially for long flights , unlike many leisure travelers who must stick to coach fares , but I get greedy for those creature comforts. Those experiences are part of the vacation enjoyment for me. I also have a ''hotel fetish'' and do NOT see my accommodation as just a place to sleep and shower , so I know y'all will be able to help me there , too! Yay!!!
