2000+ mile TP earning: How are direct+stopping flights handled?

While looking for 2000+ mile sectors in US for a TP run I've seen a few direct flights popping up.

I think some of us use this terminology in different ways, so for clarity (and correction ) I mean a route which visits an intermediate point but keeping the same flight number for both sectors. For example, aa.com finds US435 flying ATL-SEA with a stop in PHX.

Would this count as a single 2181 miles ATL-SEA segment (210TP in First), or two sub-2000 mile segments (60TP + 60TP) ?
