Networking two laptops on one high speed access in a hotel....

I'm way past the limits of my understanding here, so bear with me.

1. Suppose I'm connected via wired high-speed internet in a hotel room. I have a ThinkPad T30 with embedded WiFi. Is there any way to "broadcast" that connection to the internet over my WiFi so that my spouse can also be on the net via her ThinkPad 600 with WiFi card?

2. Same question except now I'm using the hotel's WiFi access. I assume she can't do concurrent logon. Can I somehow broadcast the my connection to her?

(Edited to add that I have XP, wife has 98SE)

If these are dumb questions, feel free to flame
