Had one maybe a year. Travel about 200,000 miles a year or more. Almost always take it with me even when I dont take a computer (which is seldom) since I use it for other devices. No problems with it breaking. The first one I got, which was not long after they came out, arrived and died completely within 10 seconds. I called their tech support, who asked me a couple questions then FedExed me another one and an RMA form to send the old one back so they could try to figure out what was wrong. I wasnt happy about the initial failure but it happens. I dont really consider it a problem if they have a good CS response which in this case I thought they did. And no problems with this one with very heavy use. I think it is sturdy rather than flimsy. The initial unit had an internal problem, it wasnt something breaking off.
