I was looking at some holiday packages using the BA Holiday Finder tool.

Why is the price for a solo traveler larger than the price for 2 people travelling together?

For example, a 2 day trip to HEL staying at the 5* Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa hotel from 12/7 to 14/7 costs 461 GBP for 1 Adult and 155 GBP pp for 2 Adults - that's 310 GBP in total. The solo traveler is charged 151 GBP more than the 2 travelers who actually occupy one extra seat in the plane!

This is not Valentine's day, is it ?
