Nothing to do with time zones. What happens is if they have the fuel, the pilots will keep the engines at a higher thrust setting. Favourable winds also help aircraft make up time. It's not really much of a miracle, I've had flights where we were an hour late departing and arrived on time.
Thank you. So in regards be at T1 on time. One thing i must remember is the check thru security check.. Yes that can be packed with people going all directions for T1 so you never know the risk of trying to get to the gate area. If not mistaken i believe i have to go thru security check before entering the gate area.. But i know im still on T1 all over.
I understand what you mean and yes that is true.. But singapore is a busy hub airport its the gateway to all direction areas. T1 isn't just for Finnair itself. There may be more airlines for T1 who too are departing and getting to gate at the same time as i will be doing for Finnair.
Anyhow thats just things to be aware of. Just pretty much to any passangers really. Goes the same with T2 too.
I'm lucky i arrive on T1 and at the same time depart on T1 same time so that is great news.
So my preference is not to step out and go thru migration and then try go to the city... believe it or not 6 hour 55min more or less isn't long enough really.. Anything could happen. For my safety concern and what not i believe it is best to remain at Terminal 1 and because i will have a hotel room i have that to shower as many i wish and rest same time.
If the plane departs 1155pm i dearly want to be at the gate (depending what time the security check thru opens) ? At the gate at least not always just 2 hours but 1hour and 30minutes to be at the gate just to be real sure. But now realise last time i did this trip the security check in did not open until they wanted to... I was one of the just a few there waiting to check in thru security...
But i do like to be more ready and early just abit just in case of anything goes.
It be the first time i will be seating the front middle of the plane.. nomally i end up wanting to seat at the back group of the plane but i be the middle group of the plane.. i presume quick exsit and good for me when i reach to helsinki because the next flight isn't too long till it departs.. And notice helsinki was so long for me to reach to the actual terminal gate from where i start going thru security check.. straright to the other gate.. a good 15 to 20minutes walking past there...
Thats why i choosed comfort seat from singapore to helsinki finnair because the only thing in this package is that when i get to helsinki the next flight departs 810am to go to berlin. And i dont get to helsinki first until 610am and there for i could end up getting to helsinki 15 minutes later or perhaps 15 minutes earlier or something. So that part is the shortest one. The other ones i have between 4 to 6 hours hang outs around for the next flight so plenty of space between that in case one plane gets me late one place to another. You get what i meant.
Take note again flybe from helsinki to berlin (departs) 810am and i must be on that plane at least 20minutes before departing but again it takes 15 to 20minutes to reach to that (gate) for flybe.. I don't get to helsinki arrive at 810am (this could end up slightly late or get there slightly earlier) then remember i must go thru security check.. that took a good 20minutes to get out of there.. and then walk all the way to the other gate for flybe like ive just indicated. Do you think i really have all that time to quickly do just all that? Last time this part was the msot fundamental nerv racking for me... kept looking at my clock... nervours not to miss the next flight....... It was painful because from ther ei had to look at the airport monitors to exactly find out where my gate is located which took 5 minutes to figuire it out.. which i got afraid because i had to ask a random person to find it for me....... I was nervours.. Maybe not a good idea to be nervours..
From there i dont remember too much about the rest.. i remember passangers then had to get on a special bus and the bus took us to the small flybe finnair plane outside the runway thing....
So as you now it... Still enough time for all that on this shortest part where i must get on the next flight ? your opinion. And also don't forget i presume i be off the plane quicker then normal because i be on the comfort seats which is middle group of the plane. Last time i did this took me 20minutes to get off the plane because i was on seat 47. Now i have seat 22 just about on the comfort seat.. Quicker exit i presume... But then who knows how many people there is waiting to go thru security check....
As you know im real excited with this trip. Its lots of fun get on the plane enjoy it.. then the country and all. Who doesn;'t
p.s Is there a proper website online to keep me updated each day or ones a week or so in regards to the construction work of the hotel for T1 at singapore ? i need to stay inform somehow because the email say september complete but how do they know that and i don't online ? I need to be sure and precies.. just incase somehow the hotel has a website and everyone already gotten a room and im left out with non at all. So i don't no if they going to have a proper website for T1. Also im confused with this names like Embassador hotel... then its the Transit hotel... then its now Grand plaza.... Very confusing... so many hotel names under one building?
