Well UA1K_no_more & windchaser777, I respect that and thanks for your advice never the less...
But you know me by now in the forum. I didn't came to singapore to discover the city and wonders. My trip concentrates on getting to europe. Sure many people would think well 6 hours you can go outside and visit the city and so on But i am not prepared because i don't no the law nor the consequences nor where to and or what the traffiic is like one part to another. I'ts just not my thing.. Oh though i do like the idea some what but i would hate the idea of going thru imigration and then back again and maybe end up all sorts of issues or can't get back to the terminal... such thing. Maybe to you it ain't like that but really i don't have much hours to muck around believe it or not.
I arrive on terminal 1 and depart on terminal 1 as you allready aware.
Well i presume i will Book a room in september to what that email indicated when they re-open the new hotel by the new company.. Yeah lets hope it be like a 6 hour block price or something similar.. I think that was pretty good deal and cheap too in the terminal 1 singapore commodation area.
It will be called grand plaza hotel is that correct ? in that case it will be called T1 grand plaza hotel or some kind ? Because they have this embassador hotel and it is hallways betwen t1 t2 and and these on terminal 2 goes into a diferent area block of the hotel
But i presume the new hotel in september will still be at the same location at terminal 1 correct ?
I only get alittle skeptical.. maybe not but its just i get the feeling that if i wait that long maybe there won't be rooms without notice.. Remember i have a trip to make in january.... But this hotel wont be open until late september or some kind... Maybe even later then that and that worries me alittle bit.
----------
I arrive at aprox 4pm singapore time. I depart aprox 11:55pm at night(pm) singapore time on the same day.. So lets see... 6 and 55minutes aproximate i have in total.
Exact same time i did the very last trip i made... I remember going straight to the hotel.. quick check up there and away i was in the room and settle in. And notice time was runing quick as i kept looking at the clock wall beside the bed..
Alittle slight of sleep.. not much i was just anxies and excited i could not even sleep correctly... just mainly drifting on the side of the bed watching tv and looking at my boarding pass tickets beside the bed...
So my preferences is not to get out of the airport and muck around as cool as it may sound just not... so for me.. not this one anyways.. I get worry easily and need to be sure i never miss my flight.
The reason why i keep saying i must be at least 2 hours at the terminal. its because flight centres and many people in the past always recommend passangers to be alterted and hang around the temrinal 2 hours because (i could be boarding) much earlier then predicted or late.. which ever way..
So hotel 4pm and get out of the hotel at 1015pm ? thats how i did it last time if not forgoten. I went straight out of the hotel give the keys bye to them and seated around waiting for my plane and gates to open. Yes i had to wait until they had to open the gates.. took a fair bit though.... But at least i was there and there was already some passangers waiting and seating around too.
But i know what you mean.. i do preciate and ill take that as an advice by all means.. But i always well you know just making sure... Its not like im traveling every year such way like this. All the nervs and so on.
However.... things like this can sometimes delay the gates wont be open precies time.
Another interesting fact about finnair i read somewhere online the other day..
Departing from singapore bounce to helsinki... 15 minutes late departing the plane from singapore BUT 15 minutes EARLIER arriving in helsinki.
So how could that be so ? If the plane departs 15minutes late while everyne is on board. Then how could the plane get to helsinki 15 minutes (EARLIER) ? shouldn't that also be 15minutes aswell late reaching to helsinki or are we talking about the speed of the plane and time zones sort of thing? I thought it was quite interesting fact... can't remember where i read that from but it was in regards to finnair on the long haul.
