I am hoping it is 72 hours, because Xiamen seems quite interesting for a short visit on my way to my final destination, HKG. But I seem to find conflicting info about this. Anyone here know if it is 24 or 72 hours?

As it happens, I will arrive on KLM at 10h25 and depart again (for HKG) on Xiamen Air at 18h45. So I am well within the 24 hour rule. Hoping to make a quick visit to the city before flying out. Thanks for the advice.
