My inlaws are visiting Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat in October. We have points in both SPG and Hyatt. Can anyone make any suggestions? All hotels are going to be on points.
My mother-in-law doesn't want to feel that she's at a beach resort that could be anywhere. They are not going to just go to the beach and relax, but see whatever there is to see in each of the places.
They don't have any meaningful status, but our cousin is going to make the reservations if we pick Hyatt and he does have Diamond status.
PS - any sites in these places that are not to be missed?
He should definitely try to give them Diamond benefits via the Hyatt Guest of Honor program. One email or call to the property beforehand and they can implement it smoothly before your in laws' arrival.
Park Hyatt Dubai is an excellent property and well worth using a DSU if your cousin is so generous.
