It sort of makes sense but still, you often go to the tropics to find the air conditioning at full blast to the extent of being chilly/cold (I'm not talking about 24 degrees here, more like 18-19 degrees sometimes), and therefore carrying one's own cardigan or a jacket would make sense.
I guess my views are somewhat distorted as I find JL cabin really hot most of the time and so a second hand cardigan is near the bottom of the list of items I feel I'd want on board (well below a shot of Ouzo that I actually dislike, and even below a brand new cardigan on board a JL flight
