I made a huge mistake with my airline ticket -suffice to say that I got a text this am asking me to check in for TOMORROW's flight- I thought I'd booked the 4th!

I have reservations at Westin Lagunamar for 4-8th and as I've loved it since they opened (they once were a Sheraton) I was so looking forward to it. But they were/are? booked for tomorrow night. I called the Plat concierge and even the hotel but was assured they were booked solid. I stay SO often that I thought MAYBE they could find a room for a Lifetime Plat like me, but was assured they had no room at the resort.

SO, I booked 2nd best (IMO) and am staying tomorrow night at this Westin. I used to stay there before the hurricane but I gave them 2 chances after rebuilding and had horrific stays. So I'm a bit nervous about my stay tomorrow. I have an RBC room booked but it's not an ocean view which is annoying. I'm so used to Lagunamar's all ocean views. I requested a suite UG but doubt it'll go through.

But my biggest question is about the spa! Back in the days before Wilma, this location had a great spa! I don't see it mentioned much, here. Anyone have any info about it? My rate allows a 10 percent discount and I'd love a massage before taking off for Westin Lagunamar on Saturday.

Also, how are the suite upgrades here for Plats? I think I read only 1 or 2 references to them. If I'm not getting an ocean view anyway, I'd rather have space. I'm happy to hear they do have a club- it's the only thing missing at Westin Lagunamar. Which, BTW, is now showing availability. GRRR! But the price for 1 night is ridiculous. And maybe this Westin will impress me. I certainly spent enough time there back before the Hurricane.

Any info on the spa would be appreciated!
