Once Christmas, after arriving from Madrid HBO, I made it from the steps of the plane, through passport control, onto the DLR, two stops to get south of the river and into a taxi, arriving at my parents 15 minutes later. I checked the text message I sent to my dad when we landed - it was 15 mins exact.
