One of the Trader Joes out here in CA supports Apple Pay and presumably EMV in general.
After you authenticate the TouchID, you have to tap "credit" and approve the amount.
Forget the brand of the POS terminal but it's the same company with a big touch screen and a pen.
I've heard August for EMV at my local Trader Joe's and they already support Contactless and mobile wallets. ^ I'm waiting for them to turn EMV and have it break the contactless.
I heard about the EMV before they turned on Contactless and since that has been on for like a month now, that must have been EMV support. No lit emv slot here, but they did have those at Sun Mart (Contactless enabled there) and Kroger owned stores but neither are enabled there.
