The best views arriving into LCY are when there are easterly operations, which sadly is not the majority of the time. Either way, if you like a view sit on the right, if you are lucky enough to land in that direction it's a great view as you loop round the Shard.

LCY's main advantage is speed through the terminal ( of course location for some), and as mentioned above, the DLR is right next to the terminal. Immigration is generally quick, though queues can build in the morning and evening rush hours.

One other thing to bear in mind on departures at LCY, BA only gives priority boarding to Gold/OWE pax and those flying in CE.
