Welcome to Aeroplan. You are better off using the united website, if there is saver award availability there should be AE availability. Or use tools like KVS or Expert Flyer to find availability. If you see availability and the website still does not work (count yourself lucky you can access it at all) you may have to call in and eat the telephone booking fee to be sure you get the flights you want.
