I am delighted that AC added a Flex variant and opened up the Tango variant to bookings well in advance.

Now that the Student Pass is up on the Flight Pass facility, I can see that the zone options are largely if not exactly the same as other flight passes that non-students would purchase.

Take the East West Connector. Flying from Calgary it would be great if my nephew was enrolled at the UofT, York, Carleton or McGill but many eminent universities are squirrelled away in smaller centres such as London (Western), Kingston (Queen's) or in my nephew's case, Sudbury (Laurentian). AC flies to all three of these smaller centres.

The Across Canada variant would do the trick but it cannot be justified cost-wise. My nephew only needs to fly from Calgary to Ontario. If he was enrolled at Memorial in St. John's it would warrant consideration.
