That seems to be the main issue with a lot of the reviews I read, and the mattress company won't cover it because the sagging isn't "deep enough" which apparently is like 1-1.5" of depth without any weight on it. People say even though the indent isn't 1", it still starts to create back pain for them and the mattress company tells them they're SOL.

We just purchased a mattress last weekend and our warranty was 10 years and the dent had to be 3/4'' (brand difference made it 3/4'' instead of 1-1.5''). I'd have to check the actual terms. I don't know the answer about Amex specifically but I'll be checking back to this thread as I used my Amex to puchase
