Oh - my bad. The 319 does connect with the BKK flight (but little else) but the 788 takes 20 minutes longer - and no connection (14 hours for next BKK flight). Who would have thought the 319 would be quicker than the 787
Anyway, fundamentally agree with what you say (but appreciate it's theirs to do as they see fit) they should flog the slot to Garuda, then i'm happy!
