Slightly off topic question.

With the OP's itinerary when does he/she clear UK customs and excise? Is this done on arrival at LHR ( first point of entry to UK ) or at NCL (final destination in UK).

If it is LHR does he/she not need to collect any checked bags before passing through customs and excise?
