go out to dos and do a ping google.com and a ping yahoo.com


Yahoo should bring back 66.218.71.98

Google should bring back 216.239.37.99

Are you on a network or stand alone? if it's a network then the servers DNS cache could be all messed up. It could also be any of the different host files on the system, what I would try is to put an entry in your hosts file for those two and try seeing if that gets you to the right place, this will bypass any network or other caching services.

Try going to the 66 number above by typing it in your address bar. that should get you to yahoo.
