Yes. Does it make sense that airlines penalize passengers for being late when they are late themselves?
And it does affect frequent fliers. It makes for more people crowding around the gate, because the flight isn't boarding at the time printed on the card.
But in terms of this beef against Delta. Can you define what that "time" means? Does it mean gate-to-gate? Time in the air? Because time in the air is relatively defined (the pilot states it many times) and doesn't vary that much. Gate-to-gate varies a lot, but maybe they should just be like La Compagnie and not list arrival times. Then they won't be late?
