Guys; this is what you get for getting a faster P4 </font>
My 8200 is a 1.7GHz P4m, which agreeably is quite fast for a laptop. But, I wanted something that I could also use with a docking station as my primary machine at home, so I went the "full service" route with this machine. My prior machine was an ultra-thin model that I bought in 1999. It was great for a portable, but since it wasn't also my home machine, it never had the files that I wanted on it, and I am too lazy to synchronize things before a trip. My 8200 does everything: it's my desktop at home, laptop on the road, and even plays games very well.
