Credit to AA but keep non-AA OW tier benefits?
So I have an upcoming domestic AA flight but had my CX FF# (OW Ruby) added to the reservation in order to get benefits like MC Extra seat selection. Is there a way I can replace it with my AA FF# (non-status) and still keep the benefits like priority seating?

P.S. I already did online check-in in order to do the seat selection. Apologies if this is not in the appropriate forum.
