Carphone warehouse only does upgrades in it's flagship store on Oxford street (next to Selfridges). However, last times I was there they had a 1 week wait for firmware updates... Perhaps some of the other larger stores like the one on Tottenham court road can perform the upgrade as I know several of their stores used to have an SE service desk...
