Yes, absolutely in this forum. That is actually what I meant in my initial suggestion, should have been clearer.
In essense, I just think posts like the "laptop for sale" one are prefectly okay and shouldnt really be closed.
A few simple rules, as mentioned by Eastwest above, are an excellent idea. I dont really see 100's of these threads appearing, merely the odd travel related tech item that may be in good hands with a fellow FT'er.
Premex, for somebody who spends an awful lot of time on OMNI posting "OMNI suitable' messages, in other words, complete and utter useless rubbish, you seem very defensive about adding a few useful topics to an otherwise quiet forum.
