Thumbs down Hidden unpublished policy is the culprit in all this

After another 1.5 hour spent on the telephone talking through Customer Service agent with a supervisor who knows where I learned the following:

- upon fusion of Dividend Miles with American Advantage the DM got only grandfathered and are not treat as if they were AA miles..

This means that hidden policy gives AA Million Miler status for US Million Miler but gives no 35,000 miles nor any SWU that one would earn under AA Million Miler.
The same goes for lifetime miles. Under AA program there are two distinct periods: before Dec 2011 (all miles and the kitchen sink) and after Dec 2011 (flight miles). This distinction does not apply to any US earned miles.
Only US metal flight miles brought from US Airways are counted in AA program.
This effectively means that any miles from US acquired airlines, and any non-flight miles are discarded.
Clearly this was not my understanding based on flood of emails and websites coming from AA and US before March 25, 2015.

One hypothetical brings the point closer:
- any US Airways 2-million miler, who become 2-MM with US on 24 March 2015, on March 25 gets only the AA 2-MM without bonuses, and should be grateful for being grandfather into AA Lifetime Platinum.
- any US Airways 1,999,999 Miler and 1 mile on AA, both on 24 March 2015 - on March 25 became AA 2-MM and got 4 SWU.
Welcome 2nd class Frequent Flyers from US Airways.

So my pipe dream created by AA and US emails and websites got zapped by the unpublished hidden policy.
I do not like it - appears to me a "snake oil salesmen" is well and alive.

Did anyone accumulate pre March 25, 2015 propaganda that was sent our way? I would want to see where did I get the wrong impression from.
Please send all you accumulated.
