I don't know. The changes they've made fix the things I really *hate* about most similar products -- battery box, dual cords, etc.

If anyone wants I'd be happy to pick up a set of the originals for you and send them on -- or you can call the Jackson NJ Bose store, I'm pretty sure they'd mail them to you.
