I'm about to get a Bose QuietComfort headset. I like the QuietComfort 2, and was going to get that but I just found out that the Bose store near here (Jackson, NJ) has the original ones for $149 and the model "2" ones for the regular $299. Can anyone give me some advice on the differences? I'm going to go to the store and take a look but I figured I'd ask here first.</font>
The QC1's have a small control box/battery case and the QC2's have everything built in.
The QC1's have a very light "hiss" then there is no music coming into them, the QC2's have pretty much done away with that.
The QC2's fold, the QC1's don't
The QC2 has a removable audio cord for when you just want noise cancelling and no music.
