I used them twice in the last two days.

LGW-Waterloo - departed 10 minutes before stated time on ticket. It was just before midnight so quiet roads. Erratic driving and heavy braking. I turned on my GPS Sat Nav on my phone and it was breaking speeds limits all the way.

Old Street-STN - missed the 1330 because it left early. Took the 1355. Again lots and lots of speeding. This time the minibus took a corner too fast on the M11 motorway and a tyre wall split. However the driver carried on going rather than pull over. I was in the back row so was unable to alert the driver, although the ride motion should have alerted anyone competent. The centre strip of the tyre with the tread came off at which point he pulled over onto the hard shoulder. He then went into the centre lane to retrieve it. Then returned to the minibus and passengers disembarked. Highways Agency and Police arrived to remove passengers from the location. By this time a couple of other easybus minibuses passed by and the driver flagged them down. Between the police and two more easybuses all passengers left the scene.

The only positive thing I can say about easybus is that the driver didn't crash when the tyre went.

In my opinion the tyre went either due to poor maintenance or the driver cornering too fast and going over speed bumps in side streets in London too fast.

The police were too concerned with removing people from the scene to enquire as to what happened. In hindsight I should have said something.

I was unable to take a photo of the off-side rear tyre due to not wishing to be at the rear of the vehicle and unable to get a shot of it from the side.

The delay at the side of the motorway was around 30 minutes.
