I booked three rooms while logged on to the SPG website, and during the confirmation process was asked to fill in names of people in the second and third rooms.
I filled them in with the names of my travel companions. I intend to pay for them all.
Will I be eligible to the points/stays/nights from this?
Since they were booked under my name (as in the email goes to me and the booking is logged in my SPG account) but are also under other people's names (cos they offered me to fill those in).
This may be a problem. If you can, I would go back and add your name as guest #1, and put the other as guest #2. And only do this if there is a need to have the other guest check in before you arrive, otherwise just leave your name as the only name on the reservation and
add their names at check-in.
The T&Cs call for you to be staying and paying for the rooms. If your name is not listed the posting may be skipped and then you have to fight to get credit.
