Be careful - the worm got me in less than 1 hour!
Hard Drive failed a diagnostic on Friday. New one arrived yesterday.

OK - time for a clean install. Line up the boxes. Started with W2K, then SP4, then Norton Antivirus, then Sygate firewall.

But before I installed the firewall, Norton Antivirus comes up with the dreaded "Virus Detected" - the Welchia Worm.

It took less than 1 hour to find an open port on my DSL connection. It cleaned up OK, but an amazing lesson about internet security learned...
