I was checking up on an upcoming flight to Amsterdam and wanted to look at the possibility of changing seats. Unfortunately the plane has now changed to a 752 and the entire plane is grayed out. I was booked into J when it was originally a 772 but we went from 40 seats in business to 8 and nothing is available.

If everything's grayed out, it means either that the equipment is still uncertain or UA is still dealing with the fallout of the swap. I'd call and see about getting a seat assignment or rebooked on a different flight in J. UA flies to AMS via ORD and IAH as well as EWR.
