I want to buy a pocket PC and have watched with interest the various releases of the HP iPAQ series.
The
h5450/h5455 looked very smart and had the features I was looking for. Unfortunately, the reviews about it were none too good. I decided to hold off my purchase.
Now the
h5550/h5555 is available and the reviews are shining. Most reviews I've read give this model top marks, saying that the problems with the h5450/h5455 are fixed with this new model.
Has anyone else bought the h5550/h5555 and what do you think of it?
As far as my perceived uses for it, I plan to store my contacts, appointments, airline timetables, and passwords, and play MP3s in-flight. (I'm sure I'll find many more uses for it once I buy one!)
Many thanks for your help.

For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilisation, and find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flints.
