One would think that template images would be replaced with meaningful images before web content is published, but that seems not to have happened here.

I think it's an odd name -- especially because web searches for Hi-Lo Hotel result in links to hotels in Hilo, Hawaii.
Earlier in this thread, I posted a link to a job posting for the position of General Manager, Hi-Lo, Marriott Autograph Collection. It's no longer a valid link, but it included this explanation for the name Hi-Lo:
Who We Are
The Hi-Lo is a balance of opposites. There is a visceral pull between the High and the Low, and this dynamic tension is at the heart of what makes life compelling. Its imbued into our stories, our journeys and our lives.
Slated to open in Fall 2015, the Hi-Lo Hotel, managed by BPR Properties, will set a new standard for the modern day Portland luxury experience. As part of the Marriott Autograph Collection, the Hi-Lo is a 120-room upscale boutique hotel catered towards foodies, artists, young professionals and the savvy business traveler looking for a real Portland experience. Located in the heart of Downtown Portland, and only a few blocks from the future home of the James Beard market and the Waterfront, guests of the Hi-Lo will be able to easily enjoy the best of what Portland has to offer both in and out of the hotel itself.
