Depends what you are looking for in a hotel and what the purpose for your visit is.
For example, if you are coming for a convention, the Westin may be a better choice as it is one block from the convention center.
Of course we do not know what the interior of the Westin is like yet.
Thanks for your reply. It's a bachelor party. Basically a group of guys looking for fun, food drinks and music. I figure the W would be the hipper place to see and be seen with the trendy nightlife and all that. But, I've found W's often have small rooms....and we might be doing 4 guys to a room. Also, the new Westin appears to be one block from 6th street....whereas the W is further away. Is 6th street the center of the party scene? W is cat 6...and Westin is 5.
I like the idea of the Westin being so brand spankin new. Given the difference in price/points...I'm leaning towards the Westin..
