Actually this is not the first time that this has been mentioned. He makes all his purchases from a vendor in Juarez, and outsourcing. All at outrageous prices

He kinda hates me because as soon as I joined this project started to makes purchases and getting bids for goods and services. Always cheaper than his vendor

I wish there is something we could do. This is a privately held company, and he is best buddies with the President. Everyone knows he is a real #@#$, but he has way too much power.

Like I told some of the managers there. It is my responsibility that you guys use all your hardware and software in the most efficient way. Maximizing benefits, and making sure that the server serves its useful life. If you guys want to use it as a door stop, that is your prerogative.

Have complained, showed them why their approach is the equivalent of me crying "Iceberg, straight ahead", and the captain of the Titanic, doesn't even care, and increases speed.

One of the most frustrating situations ever.

And as a consultant I shouldn't care. But it is hard for me to do so.

I care for the results of my work.
