I do a lot of work in third world countries. I've flown into some pretty sketchy airports all over the place... regional airports in Namibia, major terminals in Asia and Africa... everything in between.

I've never run into an airport as filthy and run down as La Guardia. That's not an exaggeration... the airports in Uganda and Namibia are cleaner, newer and better maintained, and trust me - that's saying a lot.
