Do my own cables

, only on life or death situations. I am terrible at it, I can start with a 20-foot cable and end up with a 6-foot patch cord, and dozens of wasted connectors.
I already have a small four port hub that I have.
I just have not used Lindows, so wasn't sure what it could do.
