Here's a report from June regarding the Airside shuttle from T5 - if coming on DL into LAX to connect to VA on the one booking you should not need to worry about luggage or checking in at T3.

I'm doing St Louis to Brisbane next month (last leg of a round-world), with DL flights from STL-DTW-LAX, then connecting onto VA8 to BNE. Does the shuttle from 51A still exist?

I reached out to Delta Assist on their twitter (@DeltaAssist) and they said to take the TBIT shuttle from outside baggage (which means going through security at TBIT, which is a delay I'm trying to avoid!).

Can anyone say with confidence whether the T5 to TBIT airside shuttle still exists or not?
