Is it likely BA will go for it.....?
Just off the phone to BA (45 mins on hold on the "Silver" line to get through...) and it was a NO (not entirely unexpected) although he did give the chance to cancel. The CA checked with a supervisor the flight has to originate and end at the same destination.
