Agree, doesn't matter how big the image is, any light will kill a projected image.
I agree OLED and even current LCD is the way to go. But statements that it won't work because any light will kill the projected image simply are not true. Advances in screen technology has made it quite possible for ambient/stray light to not significantly affect the projected image.
Below is the Black Diamond screen, which shows how well you can even do even a large screen with ambient light. A 20" screen is a piece of cake because you can make it much much much brighter than a 100"+ screen.
