Visa card delay cancellation insurance
I have some tickets (not award) coming up with connections on different PRNs and thought I would review my credit card insurance in case I had delays and missed a connection. I was surprised to see that my CIBC Visa Aeogold gave nothing for missed connections other than $100 for ground and more for delay expenses, no flights onward or change fee expenses. I thought that it did and it is one reason I book with it. My other Visa ScotiaGold Passport Visa does cover least expensive flight onward. Anyone have any experience with this? I also am wondering if my Scotia Visa would cover me when I use it for flight A misconnection due to delay connecting to flight B paid on other card.
Anyone have experience with connections on different PRN and different *A airlines for an SE?
