Again, that depends what card the OP has. For the Plat (and Delta Reserve card) its $10,000 per claim, and a total of $50,000 per year. I am actually about to file a claim on a pair of shoes that didnt fit and are not returnable. I dont mind using it where appropriate as a last resort.
