However, surprisingly this isn't true on AF. Once I asked for a glass of wine on an intraEU flight in business class shortly after noon and was lectured about it being too early. Apparently "too early" is defined by departure time. It was a breakfast flight which departed CDG around 9:00-9:30 am.
