This has not been my experience. It's actually been quite a while since I've run into a less than good flight crew (or a surly gate agent) on UA. On IAH-SFO yesterday, the purser provided some of the best service I've ever had on
any airline.
Yes, there are reasons to legitimately gripe, but let's not unfairly denigrate front-line employees who likely share many frustrations about the way the company is being managed.
