I'm interpreting this contract as a multi-year commitment to continue flight activity through Tokyo rather than overflying NRT and HND in favor of doing all Asia service through SEA. Maybe that's optimistic as nothing is said about the number of years, numbers of flights/meals/aircraft types, or the presence or absence of plans for diminishing quantities over the life of the contract. I'm assuming that DL wouldn't sign a multiyear contract now if they were planning to basically abandon the Tokyo hub totally. Maybe I'm trying too hard to be optimistic here......
